“My Leadership Journey” – 2020 Edition w/ Vikki Cervantes

To kick off the 2020 online edition of “My Leadership Journey”, we are starting with Vikki Cervantes, City Librarian of the Porterville Public Library. The entire library world was shocked and saddened by the tragic fire that took the lives of two firefighters and destroyed the historic community institution. We will talk to Vikki about the fire but also will talk about her interesting leadership journey, how she went from home town girl, born and raised in Porterville to being its City Librarian, her advice for leading in crisis, and how the community is moving forward from this tragedy. Please join us for what should be an interesting conversation with an outstanding library leader.
