The first program for the new cohort was held October 25th and 26th in Ontario.
Ray Patchett, City Manager Emeritus from the City of Carlsbad presented a two-fold training on “Know Your Leadership Strengths” and “Creating Healthy Relationships/Conflict Management”. (Yes, they are related…) In addition, library leaders from California (including the current, past and President-elect of the California Library Association) spent time with the cohort, talking about their leadership journey and acting as mentors during the training.

Seven additional training are scheduled for the cohort in 2019.
