Thanks to a grant from the California State Library, the California Library Association (CLA) in conjunction with the California State Library is happy to present another year of exciting new Leadership Development opportunities for library staff in California. In 2019-20, we will host a number of exciting training and development opportunities:

  • half-day workshops on topics such as knowing your leadership style, effective communication strategies, team building and change management
  • full day programs on topics such as the leadership path taken by many established library leaders
  • a new cohort for 2019/20 of 20 motivated individuals who want to hone and develop their leadership skills for the benefit of California libraries
