Home Announcing Developing Leaders in California Libraries 2020-2021 programs. Check back in October for application details. Once again, thanks to a grant from the California State Library, the California Library Association (CLA) in conjunction with the California State Library is happy to present another year of exciting new Leadership Development opportunities for library staff in California. In 2020-21, we will host a number of exciting training and development opportunities: online and in-person workshops on topics such as knowing your leadership style, effective communication strategies, team building and change management programs on topics such as the leadership path taken by many established library leaders Cohort opportunities for library professionals (Leadership Cohort) and paraprofessionals (CA New Leaders). Work with like minded leaders in the Leadership Challenge program to provide solutions to challenges the library profession faces.
