Thanks to a grant from the California State Library, the California Library Association (CLA) is happy to present another year of exciting new Leadership Development opportunities for library staff in California. In 2018 and 2019, we will host different types of training and development opportunities:

  • half-day workshops on topics such as knowing your leadership style, addressing “the impostor syndrome” and change management
  • full day programs on topics such as the leadership path taken by many established library leaders and inclusive, multicultural leadership.
  • a new cohort for 2018/19 of 15¬†motivated individuals who want to hone and develop their leadership skills for the benefit of California libraries.
